Sometimes, I wish I was back on the Arctic Ocean, trying to navigate my way through whiteout conditions on ice that is literally breaking up underneath my skis. Of course, I usually only feel that way when I'm caught in traffic or feeling a little claustrophobic from too much city life.

During those moments, I would gladly exchange all this convenience for the hardships of a north pole expedition. However, even there many things are against you. How about this for starters. A compass needle that points straight west?!?
