It is March 2nd, 8:45pm and we are still in Rez. We expected to get out by plane this morning but the weather went south and pilot was not up for the flight.

It's probably just as well that we all got a bit more rest from all of our
preparations. Had we flown out today we would have arrived on Ward Hunt Island in the afternoon and too late in the day to get any miles under us before pitch dark. Tomorrow if the weather is good we expect to get to the Island around noon, giving us half a day to get out into the ice. All our sleds and gear are loaded in the aircraft for our 8:00am departure.
