The team reports today great progress as they made 14.2 nautical miles ending the day at N89.11.05, W56.29.16. Passing their last degree of latitute before the pole is a significant achievement and one that they should be very proud of (we are proud for them!)
Though they are worn out, almost always hungry and still worried about the drift which carries them south, the team is in very high spirits. They hope to reach the pole in a few more days at which point they can finally kick back and relax a bit. Listen to Lonnie's radio dispatch and make sure to check back tomorrow for another update from the team.
