As I fast approach the grand old age of 41, rather than worrying about growing older I prefer to focus on growing.
But growing bolder is another way of looking at it, and also happens to be the name of a Florida radio show that interviewed me last week. I had great fun doing the interview - they asked some great questions - and I thought you might enjoy sharing it too.
You can click here to hear the interview, including my thoughts on the meaning of life, the universe, and everything!

Here is a short but powerful video about the state of the oceans, featuring my friend from the JUNK Raft, Dr Marcus Eriksen. It contrasts the Pacific crossed by a raft in 1958 with the Pacific crossed by the JUNK in 2008 - and the comparison is not favourable.
That's the bad news. The good news is that we can make sure the same tragic degradation does not occur over the coming 50 years. Let's keep using our reusable grocery bags, reusable coffee mugs, and reusable water bottles, and make sure that a similar video created in 2058 will look back and thank us for taking action to avert disaster.

Yesterday afternoon I went to another film premier - my third in a week! (The others were Call It Home: Searching For Truth on Bolinas Lagoon and Fuel, the latest film by Josh Tickell of Veggie Fan fame.
It's a fascinating look at America's addiction to oil, and the viability of alternative fuels for the future. Special guest appearances by various famous faces, including Richard Branson, Cheryl Crowe, Larry Hagman and Willie Nelson.
Entertaining, informative and thought-provoking - highly recommended!
