This is round the world the long way -- round the middle!. The team is aiming for Spirit of Cardiff to average around twenty knots (about 22 mph) the whole time, day and night, day after day -- for around two months! Fuel stops have been planned for maximum efficiency. Whilst fewer stops may seem better at first, stopping more often means carrying less fuel, and so can go faster.
